College Placement Track

Presented by Dr. Jan Miranda, Director of Guidance & College Placement at Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, TX.
In Kingdom Education, students are encouraged to prayerfully consider God’s calling in their academic and professional lives. Recognizing that God does indeed give gifts to every individual and calls all believers to their profession according to the grace given us, it is the responsibility of the Guidance Department to assist young scholars in discovering and uncovering the path God has planned for them. If a man’s gift is prophesying let him use it in proportion to this faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching let him teach; if it is encouraging let him encourage, if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. Guidance must be consistent and unified throughout a Kingdom Education School. Kingdom Education guidance begins in the early years culminating with college placement in preparation for serving our Lord and Savior in our churches, homes and communities. The KSi Guidance Seminars will be divided into 3 parts:
- Part I- Building a Kingdom Education Guidance Program
- Part II- Productive Group Parent Meetings
- Part III- Kingdom Education College Planning
