Developing a Kingdom Staff

As servant leaders our role is to encourage and maintain a Kingdom-Minded Staff in order to further encourage a Colossians 2:23 culture [doing our work as unto the Lord and not for men] for God's glory. This track will deal specifically with the fundamentals of a Kingdom Educator while providing practical tips for procuring and growing staff members that reflect your school's mission and vision. Time will be dedicated to professional development programming which includes staff training and logistics, conducting evalutations of all staff members in order to provide constructive feedback, developing leaders and more.
BIO:
Dana Epperson has been involved in education for twenty eight years. She is a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in elementary education and bilingual education. Dana received her master’s degree in education from Texas Woman’s University as well as her certifications in Gifted Education. Library Media Specialist and Educational Leadership. She has worked in a variety of educational roles in both public and private school settings. Among them are serving as a classroom teacher, academic coach, facilitator to gifted and talented children, educational consultant serving around the state of Texas, and an administrator. Dana has served at Prestonwood Christian Academy for the last eight years as the Lower School assistant principal, Lower School principal, Director of the staff training institute and as the Assistant Head of School--Academics. She and her husband Scott live in Plano and have three children ages 25, 19, and 8.
